(To better serve their customers they say, no less. Pitiful.) I fought the same issue way too many times without finding how to get Gmail to find my account. Finally figured out that I had to hit the "Enter" key on my keyboard after entering the "POP Server" address to get it to continue to the next option screen. At least filling in the info you provided it is now telling me email and password do not match as well as still the comment:<br /><br />Gmail couldn't identify your POP server.
